I still cant say that I'm really into the book yet, but that being said it has become more interesting as the story goes on, although it is still confusing and remembering who is who becomes so difficult when everyone name is so close. Sometimes I even read over a name and don't even realize it's a name, I just figure its a word I don't know. That being said the story is getting more interesting in a way with all the new conflicts, not just the main conflict of the colonization of the African people. People are starving and not getting enough water due to the French trying to break the strike, and union workers are starting to consider going back to work. This creates commotion between the African people. But not only this, another conflict within the people is what roles are okay for everyone to take. Are Women aloud to be the main providers for their families while the men are on strike.. You have to eat right?
Still hope i get hooked sooner or later.
